Once you have connected Salesforce with UserVoice, your product feedback will be enriched with Salesforce account data and feedback will be aggregated by account, giving you an objective, big picture view of customer needs. You’ll be able to see feedback by account, account status, and revenue.
Ideas by Account Status
Feedback from an individual user doesn’t always tell the full story- In B2B, “accounts” are the customer! What if you have one idea with 50 votes from 2 accounts? Is that more important than another idea with 50 votes from 50 different accounts? This report places an emphasis on ideas with the highest number of supporting accounts as well as revenue.
The scatter plot surfaces the top ideas based on the number of supporting accounts on one axis and total revenue on the other. A dot in the top right corner shows that an idea will impact a large number of accounts and represents a significant amount of revenue, while a dot in the top left might only impact a few accounts but also represents a high revenue total.
Filtering by Account Status
You can supplement your analysis of ideas by filtering ideas by the status of the accounts that support them.
Active Accounts - Retaining existing customers is crucial in growing a business. Filter for Active accounts and sort by accounts or revenue to view the highest value ideas. These are the ideas that should be on your radar as candidates for prioritization.
Churned Accounts - If your customers are leaving for competitors or due to unmet needs from your product, filtering ideas by Churned accounts will provide tremendous insight into which ideas might prevent other accounts from churning. You can also filter by public status to view which ideas supported by Churned accounts have been completed, potentially providing an opportunity to re-engage.
Prospect Accounts - Looking at the top requested ideas from Prospects is a great way to get a pulse on what potential customers need in order to come on board. Any trends in requests from these accounts might be an indicator of something to build to help increase your win rate.
Closed-Lost Accounts - Prospective customers may not become customers for several reasons. Whether your product lacks a feature that a competitor offers or it doesn’t integrate with an integral part of a prospect’s workflow, staying in-tune with the ideas supported by Closed-Lost accounts is key in understanding potential ways to increase your win rate.
Clicking on an idea will reveal an objective, quantitative view into the support of that idea. The overview tab shows which type of accounts are supporting this idea and how much revenue each represents.
The Activity tab displays all recent comments and feedback on the idea, with the option to filter the activity for specific account statuses. The Supporting Accounts tab features a list of every account that has voted on the idea.
