Common Issues & Solutions

| Both | Link to UserVoice not displayed on Jira card | You need to enable the field in your Jira issue display settings, outlined here in step 9. |
| Both | Link to UserVoice idea shows, "{anchor: NOTE: This content is auto-generated by the UserVoice...}" | Make sure that the "UserVoice Links" field is set to use a "Wiki Style Renderer". Oftentimes, this is set to 'Default Text'. |
| Server/Data Center | UserVoice is unable to authorize due to firewall | Whitelist UserVoice IPs. Contact Technical Success team to obtain the list by clicking the lower-right Support bubble. |
| Server/Data Center | "Sorry an unexpected error occurred" with IPs already whitelisted | Jira URL must be https. Double check and correct. |
| Server/Data Center | "Illegal character in scheme name at index 0: https://{subdomain}.uservoice.com/jira/auth" | Jira URL must be https. Double check and correct. |
| Both | Cannot create new Jira cards from UserVoice, but linking to existing works fine | You have a required field that UserVoice is not able to populate. You will need to either link items after creating them in Jira, or remove the field requirement. |
