Customers give you feedback over the phone, on social media or through your sales team. You can capture that feedback and subscribe them to the relevant ideas.
Add a voter to an idea from the admin console
When viewing an idea, click the vertical ellipsis in the top-right corner, and choose "Add Voter"
You'll then be prompted to enter details on the feedback and the user who provided it, the idea will already be linked for you. You can enter the email address for an existing user or create a new one. Note that you can optionally enter a source of feedback.

Similarly, you can also capture a user's feedback from anywhere in the admin console by clicking the "+" icon, or "Add" located near the bottom of the left-hand navigation menu. From this menu, you can add the user's feedback to a known idea or to a new idea.
Viewing Manually added Feedback
Click into the idea and choose the "Details and activity tab". Open the "Filter" and check the box next to "Feedback". This will display all feedback that has been captured for this idea. Feedback is different from comments and ideas because it is the information you captured on behalf of a user.Quick FAQs
- If the forum is private, and the user does not have access to that forum, you can still add their vote. They will get the status updates on that idea, but the email won't contain any links back to the forum.
- Feedback captured on behalf of a user does not show on your portal. That is, it is only available in the admin console.
