Build an Impact Report
To build an Impact Report, you will need to start with a selection of related ideas. You can either begin in a previously created idea list, create a new one, or work with just a selected group of ideas

Search/filter the grid to find ideas related to your topic.

Select the ideas you want collective data on. This opens the Quick Actions modal on the right side of your screen.

Click "Run impact report" in the Quick Actions menu, then click "Run report" in the pop-up. This generates and opens the new Impact Report.
Understanding the Report

Metrics: Provides key metrics from the set of ideas that make up the report.

Pain Points: Gives you an understanding of the core issues of the feedback in your set of ideas by analyzing the ideas, descriptions, comments, and feedback records, to help surface real problems users are facing.

At the bottom of this section, there are actions available to update public or internal statuses to inform your users of what is coming next.

Value to Users: Ensures what you are solving for will actually be useful to your user base and that the goals are aligned with strategic business initiatives.

Challenge the Hypothesis: Questions the unconsidered rabbit holes, where obstacles will be hit, and factors that might not be accounted for.

Research Questions: Questions to ask to clarify pain points, challenges, and potential solutions to help test the value of solving a given problem.

Report Actions
UserVoice Impact Reports are designed to be flexible and shareable. Here's how you can tailor them to your needs:
- Text Editing: Hover over any text section to copy or edit it.
- Section Copying: Copy entire sections using the "Copy section" button.
- Report Sharing: Share, download (as a PDF), or delete the entire report using the buttons in the top right corner.
- Idea List Access: If the report was made from within an idea list, click the idea list name in "Based on Idea List" to return to the report's source.
View Previous Reports
- Navigate to an idea list.
- Select "See report" in the Quick Actions modal to view the existing report.
- Choose "Re-run impact report" to update the report with the latest data.
