Often times, end-users will leave comments on ideas that should be it's own idea. Now, you can upgrade these comments to an idea with just a click of a button!
To Convert a Comment to an Idea
- In the admin console, find a comment that you wish to upgrade.
- Select the lightbulb symbol
in the bottom right to upgrade the comment.
- Create a title that best describes the idea or use the suggested idea provided by our AI -- the comment will copy into the description of the new idea. The forum/category & creator of the idea will also copy over.
- Note: If the user is subscribed in the current idea, they will be automatically selected as subscribed in the upgrade. If they are not subscribed in the previous idea, they will not be selected as subscribed in the upgrade. Click "subscribe to status updates" to subscribe the user to future updates.
- Save idea!
- Note: If you have subscribed the user, they will receive a notification about the upgrade.
